More on Day - 1

I wonder if any guy has taken a rejection hard by the HR guys of campus recruitments more than a rejection from a girlfriend. Not that I had any girlfriend (and I don't intend to have one either), but it's really hard to take a reality bite when there are people around you getting selected into the company, where you couldn't make it. It's funny though, I've seen people like me who said they were "hell bent" on pursuing graduation after undergrad, and they got into one of the five companies that came to my college campus for recruitments. Not that it's any of my business to judge their choice, but it sure was the reason that made me get into the competition, and after two days or so, it made me more seriously involved in it, and finally making me forget that my real aim was to either pursue an M Tech or an MS course.

After failing in three consecutive companies, I've finally decided to do what I should have done 15 days ago -  start GATE preparation. It was hard to get over the fact that I have made a complete fool of myself by not making it to a company, among so many of my friends, but I now saw something true in giving up that pursuit forever and start everything from scratch.

Thus started Day - 1 of my preparation, and the countdown ends on February 13th 2011. Up until now I was trying to figure out which subject to start and how. So I started with Analog Circuits, covered up a fair amount of syllabus for a day. Lucky for me, I have the best book for the job that I've been preserving for the past four years! All I had to do was to dig for it, blow away the dust, and start from chapter 1. =]
